I've got several of these on my church's drum kit and they give a good basic sound on the toms and snare (top mic). The mounting works quite well as long as you're not putting it on and taking it off all the time. I took off a star simply because I do like it's better brother the e904 a smidge better, but honestly in a live setting it's hard to tell the difference. Next time I'm looking for Tom mics, I will certainly be considering these.
