Unlike some "earset cables" that are hard-wired from mic to connector, the Countryman E6 cable quickly and securely snaps into the E6 or E6i earset to link the mic to the wireless system. That means if you ever have trouble with the cable getting a bit worn, you can replace just the cable at a fraction cost of replacing the entire Countryman mic.
