Record like a Ninja!

The Atomos Ninja V 5" 4K HDMI Recording Monitor is a fantastic 5" on-camera monitor/recorder that can record and play back DCI 4K, UHD 4K, and HD videos from purpose-built mini-SSDs. The Ninja Monitor features a 10-bit FRC IPS screen and a brightness of 1000 cd/m², which allows for easy usage in both exterior and interior conditions. The revolutionary AtomHDR display technology allows users to accurately monitor log gamma footage without flat, washed-out looking images or a LUT to compress the dynamic range and color space. The Atmos Ninja video playback device monitor supports popular log formats from the following: Sony, Canon, Panasonic, ARRI, RED, and JVC cameras. The settings of these formats only affect viewing, not the recorded video.

The Ninja V video capture monitor is built to withstand the rigors of production, with an aluminum chassis and powers up from a single L-series battery. Additional features of the Ninja V include a variety of onscreen exposure analysis, framing, focus assist tools, and an anamorphic de-squeeze. The Ninja V power supply and SSD Caddy will be included with the unit.

The Atmos Ninja Recording Monitor is designed with an interface that differs somewhat from prior units. The HDR functions can be accessed through its MON buttons. The ProRes options are chosen with the arrows on the monitor’s upper left corner. The Ninja V video capture monitor can record AtomX SSDmini or standard 2.5" SSD drives. The Ninja V can fit up to 150 minutes of incredible 4K video on an 1TB drive. s Available separately, Atmos offers the AtomX Ethernet/NDI and SYNC Expansion Modules that enable you to output live video over an IP or to add a wireless timecode for multicamera shoots respectively.
