Samson's DE50x (SAM-DE50X) is an omnidirectional headset microphone with a Micro-Miniature condenser capsule. This discreet, comfortable and stable headworn microphone is ideal for live audio in many applications, including in houses of worship. The DE50x's discreet capsule captures sound evenly in all directions with no proximity effect or off-axis coloration. The double ear, flexible headset design allows for a secure and comfortable fit with optimal placement of mic placement for all users. With four detachable microphone cables - 1/8" (3.5mm), Hirose® 4-Pin, Switchcraft® TA3F and Switchcraft® TA4F adapters respectively, the DE50x is well suited for popular wireless systems. Included collar clip and windscreens help ensure optimal operations and sound clarity. The gold plated connectors, stainless mesh and moisture-resistant coating contribute to the IP65 rating for the DE50x.

i replaced the stock AKG mic with these and they are WAY hotter! i had to turn the gain down on the transmitter to eliminate overdrive distortion and also had to turn down the gain on the mixer but everybody in church says that they can hear so much better now. i recommend these.
