Radial’s J48 active DI is the choice of engineers around the world! The J48’s unique phantom powered DC-to-DC transformer isolated switching power supply provides amazing headroom while eliminating ground loops, hum and buzz. The Jensen® transformer-equipped JDI from Radial handles high-output, active instruments with a musicality that audio engineers love! The welded I-beam construction insures that this direct box will stand the abuse the road can throw at it. By employing a unique switching power supply, the J48 is capable of peak transients to 9 volts without choking. The result is lower harmonic distortion, half the inter-modulation distortion and significantly improved dynamics over other DIs.
