DPA 4098 CORE supercardiod gooseneck microphone delivers high speech intelligibility, controlled directionality and efficient rejection of background noise / radio frequency interference for applications when vocal clarity is paramount. With very low noise and a high sensitivity, 4098 CORE Supercardioid Microphones offer the most clear, transparent, and natural sound available on the miniature mic market. The mics are capable of handling extremely high SPL before clipping. With a linear response, low distortion and an extremely large dynamic range, these mics sound great no matter how challenging the environment. The factory-mounted foam windscreen on the mic head should always be kept on to prevent pop noise.

DPA's Core technology improves on the legendary audio quality of their miniature microphones mics through minimized distortion across an expanded dynamic range, resulting in increased audio clarity and openness of sound. With a water-repellent nano-coating of the housing, a hermetic seal of the amp, and dual gold plating of the diaphragm, all CORE by DPA technology microphones are IP58 certified allowing for usage in a variety of demanding applications.
