ChamSys's MagicQ MQ70 (CAM-CHAMMQ70) Compact Lighting console supports 24 universes out of the box (with an option to expand to 48), features a large multi-touch display and has built in WIFI. This connection enables the console to quickly connect to an intuitively designed, free MagicQ Remote focus app with no additional networking connections. A built in UPS provides a redundant power supply that can power the unit and the ethernet port in the event of a power outage during critical moments of operation. The unit runs silently, requiring no cooling fan, making it ideal for video applications and quiet environments. Three network ports enable sACN and ArtNet direct from the console and four additional, assignable DMX ports support RDM. The MagicQ series has been designed with interoperability in mind. The MQ70 can run programs designed on other MagicQ units with the MagicQ software which offers powerful lighting control, full lighting visualisation, pixel mapping, and HD media playback that lighting designers rely on for everything from simple to the most complex shows.
