  The new 3LCD color image generation technology source used in VPL-FHZ85/80 produces amazing color reproduction, increased brightness, and an expanded color gamut. 3LCD technology also delivers crisper imagery with a combination of greater brightness and superior grayscale definition, creating fuller contrast. The 3LCD system uses a laser and 3 chips (red, blue, and green) to produce a vibrant full-color image. This new technology creates better aesthetics and superior mechanical advantages.
